Check Your Financial Aid Status in ctcLink

Your financial aid information, including upcoming awards, outstanding requirements, documentation, and your Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status, can be found in the Financial Aid section of your ctcLink account.

You will need to complete any outstanding requirements and to-do items before your financial aid application can be processed and awarded. Students with outstanding requirements will be notified by email and to do items will be posted to their ctcLink account.

The Financial Aid tile in ctcLink provides access to:

  • Aid Year Information - Review your awards for the given academic year.
  • Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) – Review your SAP status and 91°µÍø's SAP Policy.
  • Loan Counseling – Review and complete your Loan Entrance Counseling.

To be eligible for Federal financial aid you must:

  • Be a US citizen or eligible non-citizen;
  • Be registered with the Selective Service (if required);
  • Be enrolled in an eligible program of study and are enrolled in eligible classes that lead to a degree or certificate offered by 91°µÍø that is at least one year in length;
  • Have a high school diploma or GED® certificate;
  • Demonstrate financial need;
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress;
  • Not be in default on any student loan or owe a repayment on any grant received at any institute of higher education.

The information that you report on your FAFSA is used to determine your Student Aid Index (SAI). When your file is complete, the 91°µÍø Financial Aid Office will evaluate your application and notify you of your eligibility.

Your financial aid need is determined using the following formula:

Cost of Attendance – SAI = Financial Need

Keeping Your Aid

60% Dates (Return of Financial Aid Funds)

If you’re receiving financial aid grants or loans, you must attend your classes. Don’t drop or stop attending any class without consulting the Financial Aid Office first. Changes to your class schedule and failing grades may require you to repay federal financial aid funds.

Federal regulations require you to repay a portion of financial aid funds if you withdraw from all of your classes before satisfying the 60% completion rule for the quarter.

You also may be required to repay financial aid funds if you receive failing grades in all of your classes unless an instructor can document that you attended class for at least 60% of the quarter.

F02 Hold & Disenrollment Process (Summer 2026)

Starting Summer Quarter 2026, changes are being made to how financial aid holds (Tuition Deferred-Possible FA) protect your enrollment if tuition is not fully paid.

  • You are only protected from disenrollment if your accepted aid fully covers tuition
  • If your aid does not cover all tuition, you must pay the remaining balance by the tuition due date
  • If the balance is not paid on time, you may be disenrolled from one or more classes for nonpayment
Having financial aid does not automatically mean your tuition is fully paid

A financial aid hold (which protects your enrollment) is added only if:

  • Your accepted financial aid exceeds your tuition
  • You are meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
  • You have no outstanding financial aid requirements
  • You are enrolled in a financial aid‑eligible academic plan

If your aid only partially covers tuition, your enrollment is not protected until the remaining balance is paid. Once paid, the hold is added the next morning.

  • Check your tuition charges
  • Subtract your accepted financial aid
  • Pay any remaining balance by the due date
    • Tuition balance minus accepted aid = balance to be paid

If you receive a tuition due notice, action is required to stay enrolled.
